Road trip to Washington - Bonney Lake and Wenatchee

Here we are with Paul and Connie Johnson - they are the Africa South Area Pathway missionaries that will replace us.  We met them at their home in Boise on our way to Jennie and Jason's in Washington.

Prather's house on Radio Road in Ellensburg, Washington.  We rented and loved this house for a couple of years.  Harold could walk to work just down the hill, the kids had a great yard to play in and we got Maverick, our family dog, while we were living here.  This house was an old milking shed - and had many nooks and crannies for the kids to play 'hide and seek'!!

We called Heidi's best friend in high school - Caron Lange Van Orman, she jumped in her car and met a us at the house.  She is an amazing person and it was fun to catch up with her life! Memories are important - always make good ones!!!

This is our house on Table Mountain Drive - Ellensburg.  Many happy memories in this house.  There was a step down front room with a fire place in the middle of the room.  The Youth had a real 'fireside' here with the Stake Patriarch!  The kids played a game - stair to stair here.  See the Carport?  I drove the van into it with bikes on top!  Harold drove in with our big Christmas tree scrapping!!  Also note the lovely trees - one contributed to our Christmas!  We got Kurt's pony while living here.  The next door neighbors notice a foal one morning - yep- she was pregnant and now we had two ponies!!

We didn't spend much time in Ellensburg - this last picture is if the DQ that Polly worked at.  It was close to the Radio Road house and she would bribe her siblings with the promise of a Blizzard!!

When we arrived in Bonney Lake at Jennie's - Noah had a soccer game.  He is Number 7 in the middle with a white shirt.  He played real well - they haven't won a game but the team is improving!!  It was fun to be with the Hardys!

The next day Jennie took us on a great hike in the mountains.  Luke came with us - Noah went to Salt Lake with Jason, he needed too help his parents.  Sure loved spending time with Jen in the mountains! She's a great hiker!!!

On Sunday, April 30th - we watched Christian give a talk in his Stake Conference in CO! He did a great job and it was great to watch him!  He has his mission call to the Cape Verde Islands, Africa!!

Our next stop was in Wenatchee to see Jordan, and her dogs, Mable and Hank! She has a nice house with a big back yard for the dogs to run in!  It was nice to catch up with her busy life as a Veterinarian. Our new (to us) car was running great and the scenery between Jen's and Jordan's spectacular!!
