Temple Site, Mowbray Chapel, and Hout Bay Tuesday Dec. 19th

This seal climbed out of the sea right at our feet! Hout Bay - site of an old battle, half way between Cape Town and Boulders Bay.
Elder Smith and friendly seal!
More seals on the rocks by the boats - all waterfronts smell the same!
We took a rest stop at Hout Bay - fun to see the boats and seals.
The first chapel built in Africa.  It was in Cape Town when Uncle Tom served his young mission here - 1958 - 1960.  Mobray Chapel.
Another view of the Mowbray Chapel.

This is the site of the announced Cape Town Temple - the white building is the Mission Office.
This is a nice area - lots of room to build.  The Saints are happy to have their own temple - Johannesburg is 5 hours by train!  Two hours by plane!
