November Happenings
These Jacaranda trees in Johannesburg are so pretty! Dead scorpion on the floor of the parking garage at the Area Office - yikes!
Picture of the Kwa-Thema First Ward Primary - not a chance to get a picture of our Second Ward! Aren't they beautiful? Both wards had so many children wearing white shirts/blouses and dark skirts and pants. The singing was great! The parts cute - the smallest children said one word: Faith, Repentance, Forgiveness, etc.
On the way to Church we passed over two hundred motorcycles on the freeway. They were riding side by side and stretched for miles!
Most if the riders had on Jackets that said South African Crusaders - leather of course! This is a stuffed wart hog in the African store - those key chains I've sent are from the lower, smaller tusks - cool huh? When I purchase them they give me a affidavit about live animal products being exported, that I send in the packages.
Two letters from Aunt Sue - one mailed September 19, the other one October 19...we received both on November 12th! Everyone be grateful for a good Postal Service!
On November 16th - the senior sisters enjoyed a Birthday luncheon - Sister Simmons and Sister Fox were honored - see the cute sign at the back? It says - Happy Birthday Sister Simmons Sister Fox! We sure enjoy our Birthday lunches!
