Malawi Saints and the Temple
We really enjoy having the Saints come to the Temple. The Temple Patron housing is near our office and we get to hear the pretty languages and see the little children when they come. This week we had 28 people from Malawi. There were 18 adults, 5 teenagers, and 5 children.
This group of young people were so much fun. The young lady in the long pink dress was named Emily, the one in the short pink dress Grace! The young man with a tie performed all the baptisms for his friends, one is his sister.Aren't they beautiful? The Brother officiating would tell them before some of the baptisms - that is your great grandmother, or that is your grandfather. It was very special for all invloved. Three adult sisters also did baptisms for family members, then had those recorded and went on for the whole session. It was funny giving out the baptismal clothes - we asked - are you endowed? They all said yes - and then I had a chance to ask when that happened. "Yesterday" was their answer!!
In front of the Johannesburg Temple - their first time on an airplane, first time in the temple!
Love to be near them - so humble and grateful - notice the plastic flip flops Grace is wearing.
At the Area Office - loved the bright colors - they are getting ready to go get a covid test! I was blessed to help the sweet older sister in the blue sweater - middle of the picture. Both of us felt the spirit so strong, and then I read on the card that she was doing the work for her mother!
