Missionaries leaving and more Random things!!
The grounds crew planted pansies this week - so pretty and remind me of my mother and grandmother!
Love this advice from our Prophet - trying hard to follow it!
Card I made for the Pecks as they were leaving to return home to Rexburg, ID. I heard a missionary teacher in the MTC say this quote that his Mission President told all returning missionaries: "If we don't meet on the path - we will see you at the tree!"
Sister Joy Kunz Peck and Elder Gary Peck - with two grandchildren! She is related to our old Bishop in Sandy, Everett Kunz. She is a Family History expert and so cute about it!
Saying goodbye - I was cooking dinner when we realized it was time for their taxi to come get them for the ride to the airport - Sister Cleverly, us, Elder Cleverly, Pecks, Elggrens, and Goodsons. It is hard to see friends leave, but new couples coming are awesome to get to know! Elder Michael Goodson has a you tube spot with him playing guitar and singing - check it out!
Elder and Sister Peck in front of the senior apartments at Duke's Court - love them!
Sister Sims and Watson sewing seder prayer shawls - Sister Candland in the back cutting our felt hats.
Sister Perkins, Elggren, and Goodson putting fringes on the prayer shawls - Sister Swift in the background organizing it all!
Elder and Sister Irving left last week also - they live in Wenatchee, WA - but are in Arizona here with children and grandchildren.
This is for Dan Fairbanks - we are excited to go but how do they know four months ahead who is playing the championship game? One senior elder told us his favorite bumper sticker says: Give Blood, Play Rugby!
