African Drumming
After dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, we went into a back room and had a great time learning how to beat African Drums. The ceiling was all old vinal records, with drums for light shades!
The entrance way was a wall of cymbals! with autographs on them.
A mural at the back of the room dedicated to South African Musicians.
Two of the drummers with Elder and Sister Perkins -their son Todd lives in Mortensens Ward in Hyrum!
The top of their drums still had animal hair on them - very authenic!
Elder and Sister Cleverly with us and all three of the drummers - very fun!
Getting ready to learn -two rows of wonderful senior missionaries.
Elder Smith learning how to hold his hands and beat the drum.
We had a great time, drumming, singing and dancing!!
