Merry Christmas! December 25, 2021
Santa Claus found us in South Africa! Here are the fun things we bought for each other and were given by Polly and Sam - some other cards and things are in the mail!
Elder Smith with his loot!
Wonder quilt top already pieced together - sewing machine to use on it!
The four senior couples that live in our complex had a nice Christmas Day breakfast together. We all contributed to the food and set tables out side and enjoyed a good beginning to Christmas day.
Elder Parrish singing some Christmas songs with his guitar - Sister Parrish, Elder and Sister Perkins, half of Elder Smith!!
Elder Perkins, the Parrish's, Sister Smith and Elder and Sister Sims. We enjoy living near each other - helps to give rides to the office, borrow an egg, etc.
Our favorite happening Christmas Day - Family Zoom Call! So amazing to have all of us together via wonderful technology! Stan directed things - fun to see everyone and hear about their Christmas. We tried to sing - Julie played her guitar so well - it was fun and funny! So loved seeing everyone and hearing their voices - much love and prayers for all.

Our mantle with all the fun things other senior couples have given to us...we gave them African fabric bowl cozy's and they seem to like them.
Out stash of presents waiting for Christmas morning!
Polly gave us the darling ornaments, Elder and Sister Schmeil gave us the "Make time for the Lord" plaque. Christmas is an amazing time of year - love it!

On Sunday, December 26th, Olivia and Sadie and another girl sang 'Silent Night' in their ward. Polly sent us the link and we listened to it! Great job girls - they have sweet voices! We sure love Christmas music and especially the hymns!
I am so glad Santa found you!
