Sunday December 12, 2021- Church and Children

Our Humanitarian couple, the Martins, also Communications - the Twitchells, and Church History couple - the Irvings along with other local organizations with some of the gifts for the Township refugee center, already given to the orphanage...Merry Christmas! Sister Martin in black, Sister Irving in white blouse, blue skirt.
Getting ready for the children.  They reported to all of the seniors at our Come Follow Me lesson, the children were very grateful and so excited and happy!  The bags we filled are in the front.  They had new clothes, toys, books and candy in them!
Elder Martin giving to a little girl, Elder Twitchell in the background - it was reported to us that Elder Twitchell at both the orphanage and refugee center - had all the children around him playing games!
Sister Irving and Sister Martin handing out KFC boxes.  Some of the children did not know how to pull the tab on their juice drink.  They were very grateful and happy - one asked if he could have his empty box!   We have so much and need to be more thankful for all our blessings!
Here is Sister Irving, Sister Martin, Elder Martin and I think the director of the center.
Elder Martin giving food to one of the little ones.  It is so awesome that we can make a difference in this world with little acts of kindness!  All the seniors were so happy to fill the bags and contribute to the happiness of children in honor of our Savior - to celebrate His Birthday!
Our Church meeting was canceled again - three weeks now.  We were told that some of the Ward Leaders have covid.  We learned that one of the Counselors in our Stake Presidency died last year of covid.  Also one of the Bishops in the stake was very ill - but survived.  In these rural areas far from the big city - we think the medical resources aren't as plentiful.  We attend church with Elder and Sister Sims, in Muncieville - their assigned ward.
The young Elders ride their bikes about 30 minutes to get to the building.  The Building is metal containers placed together and it was very comfortable.
Sister Sims talking to the Relief Society President who spoke in Sacrament Meeting.
The Church buildings - they are working on getting a permanent building soon.

  1. I love the way you said the Senior Missionaries pulled some things together. You are working miracles.
