Our Flat - Apartment in Johannesburg

 

The Area Office purchased several flats in a new Building - Oxford five-one.  Here is our main bathroom - huge bath tub, shower, two sinks, etc. Brand new towels, rugs, etc. 

Bedroom with chest of drawers, new blankets, sheets, - I moved the chest thing into the corner - not at the bottom of the bed. 

Kitchen - all new dishes, pots and pans, etc.  It felt like we were just married - with all new things! Gas stove - fun to see Elder Smith's large suitcase in the picture.  We took naps first thing, then got unpacked! 

Table and chairs, and front room - very comfortable and clean.

Second bathroom - same as the first!

Guest bedroom - same as the Master bedroom - again I moved the chest to the corner - more room. Hope we have someone come and visit us - great accommodations!

On the other side of the kitchen - washer and dryer!!  We feel very blessed and will keep this flat clean and nice.  After napping and getting unpacked we attended a Senior Missionary Tailgate party!!  There is a big recreation room at the other senior apartment house - everyone wore their BYU or U of U or other school sweatshirts - We sang Rise and Shout, and a Utah Man am I and it was fun... yummy potluck - nice company and a fun time.  Played a get to know you game with colored M & M's - choose a color and answered a question! 

Sorry about the sideways picture!  Also the cute welcome sign the Humphreys gave us!  It is on our fridge with the Dutch tulips and Paris magnets I bought at the airports.
