Area Office
Sunday October 31, Elder and Sister Elggren drove us to our assigned ward - the Kwa Thelma 2nd ward. It was Stake Conference and both wards met together - great talks! Wonderful to meet the people we will be serving on Sundays. It is about a 40 minute drive from the city - delightful children. The Temple is right next to the Area Offices - all are in a park like setting - an old estate that the Church purchased. View from behind the temple. This new format is confusing! Anyway - We left our Garden Apartment and drove to Bountiful on October 28th - just in time to see the cute Fairbanks grandchildren in their Halloween costumes as they were on their way to school and parties!
ReplyDeleteLindsey and boys drove us to the Salt Lake Airport and we were off on our mission! Fun selfie and cool that Delta has a Missionary Check In counter!!
